Aaron James Judge was born on April 26, 1992, in Linden, California. He is the son of Patty (Sansom) and Wayne Judge, and has two sisters, Amber and Andrea. His parents divorced when he was young, after which his mother remarried to George Butler. Through his stepfather, he has two stepbrothers and one stepsister. As a child, Judge played basketball and football in addition to baseball. He began playing baseball at the age of five or six, inspired by his grandfather’s love for the game.
