The easiest way to get to Yankees Stadium from Penn Station is by taking the subway. The 4 train goes right to the stadium and the B and D trains make stops nearby. The subway ride will take about 30 minutes. You can also take the Long Island Rail Road from Penn Station to the nearby Metro North station. From there, you can take the Metro North train to Yankees Stadium.
Take the subway from Penn Station to Grand Central Station
Take the subway from Pennsylvania Station to Grand Central Station. At Grand Central, take the 4 or 5 train towards the Bronx. Get off at 161st Street – Yankee Stadium. The total trip should take about 45 minutes.
Take the 4, 5, or 6 train from Grand Central to 125th Street
Take the 4, 5, or 6 train from Grand Central to 125th Street, then change for the B or D train to 161st Street – Yankee Stadium.
The subway ride from Grand Central to Yankee Stadium should take between 30 and 45 minutes.
Take the B or D train from 125th Street to 161st Street – Yankee Stadium
Take the B or D train from 125th Street to 161st Street – Yankee Stadium. Yankee Stadium is about a 10-15 minute walk from the 161st Street – Yankee Stadium Station.
The easiest way to get to Yankees Stadium from Penn Station is by bus. The bus will drop you off right outside the stadium so you won’t have to walk far. The bus is also relatively cheap and it is a direct route so you won’t have to transfer.
Take the M60 bus from Penn Station to 106th Street and Amsterdam Avenue
The M60 bus runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and costs $2.75 per ride. The trip from Penn Station to 106th Street and Amsterdam Avenue takes approximately 30 minutes.

Walk three blocks north to Broadway and take the Bx6 bus from there to 161st Street and the Grand Concourse
When you get off the train at Penn Station, follow the signs for the exits. You’ll want to walk three blocks north to Broadway. Once you’re on Broadway, look for the Bx6 bus stop. The Bx6 will take you right to 161st Street and the Grand Concourse, which is where Yankee Stadium is located.

Take a taxi or car service from Penn Station to East 161st Street and the Grand Concourse
The trip from Penn Station to Yankee Stadium by taxi or car service takes about 15 minutes, traffic depending.
Head west on West 32nd Street toward Seventh Avenue, then make a slight right to stay on West 32nd Street. Merge onto NY-9A N/West Side Highway via the ramp to Uptown/Yankee Stadium. Take the exit onto I-87 N/Major Deegan Expy toward Albany/Yankee Stadium. Continue onto Macombs Dam Bridge. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit and stay on Macombs Dam Bridge. At the traffic circle, take the 3rd exit and stay on Macombs Dam Bridge. Use any lane to turn slightly left to stay on Macombs Dam Bridge. Turn left onto E 161st St, and Yankee Stadium will be on your left.
