The Yankees are set to face off against the Minnesota Twins in the AL Wild Card game on October 3rd. The winner of that game will advance to play the Cleveland Indians in the ALDS.
The Yankees’ first playoff game is on October 3rd
The Yankees will play their first playoff game on October 3rd against the Minnesota Twins. The game will start at 8:07 pm EST and will be broadcast on ESPN.
The Yankees will play the Red Sox in the ALDS
The Yankees will play the Red Sox in the American League Division Series, which is set to begin on October 4. The ALDS will be a best-of-five series, and the Yankees will have home-field advantage. The schedule for the ALDS is as follows:
October 4: Red Sox at Yankees
October 5: Red Sox at Yankees
October 7: Yankees at Red Sox
October 8: Yankees at Red Sox (if necessary)
October 9: Yankees at Red Sox (if necessary)
The Yankees will play the Astros in the ALCS
The Yankees will face the Houston Astros in the American League Championship Series. The best-of-seven series will begin on Saturday, October 12th at Minute Maid Park in Houston, TX. The schedule is as follows:
Game 1 – Saturday, October 12th at 8:00 PM ET
Game 2 – Sunday, October 13th at 8:00 PM ET
Game 3 – Tuesday, October 15th at 8:00 PM ET
Game 4 – Wednesday, October 16th at 8:00 PM ET *if necessary*
Game 5 – Thursday, October 17th at 8:00 PM ET *if necessary*
Game 6 – Saturday, October 19th at 8:00 PM ET *if necessary*
Game 7 – Sunday, October 20th at 8:00 PM ET *if necessary*
All games will be broadcast on FS1.
The Yankees will play the Dodgers in the World Series
The Yankees have qualified for the World Series and will face the Los Angeles Dodgers. The World Series schedule has not been released yet, but it is expected that the first game will be played on October 24th. Stay tuned for more information!
