The team played at Yankee Stadium from 1923 to 1973 and from 1976 to 2008. In 1974 and 1975, they played their home games at Shea Stadium, located in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park, Queens, before returning to Yankee Stadium in 1976; since then, they have played at newly constructed Yankee Stadium II adjacent to the original facility which opened on April 2nd of this year.
