Yankees’ Record
The Yankees have had a great season so far and their fans are eager to see them play in the playoffs. However, the Yankees’ record is not the best in the league. In fact, it is the second worst. This means that the Yankees will most likely not make it to the playoffs.

The New York Yankees play their home games at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York. The address for Yankee Stadium is 1 East 161st Street, Bronx, NY 10451. The stadium can be reached by taking the 4 train to 161st Street/Yankee Stadium. The stadium is also accessible by car, and there are parking lots available for guests.

The team is owned by Yankee Global Enterprises, an LLC controlled by the family of the late George Steinbrenner, who purchased them from CBS in 1973. Brian Cashman is the team’s general manager, and Aaron Boone is the team’s field manager. The team’s home games were played at Yankee Stadium from 1923 to 1973 and from 1976 to 2008. In 1974 and 1975, their home games were played at Shea Stadium, home of their NL rivals, the Mets. From 2009 to 2012, their home games were played at Citi Field in Queens—the new home of their other NL rivals_the Mets. In 2013, they returned to Yankee Stadium

In pursuit of winning championships,[12][13][14] since 1996 San Diego Padres general manager Kevin Towers used reverse engineering on past World Series teams to create a model toward building a contending baseball team.[15][16] According to USA Today’s contribution towards MLB’s investigation into sign stealing allegations made against Houston Astros during their 2017 championship season,[17] a similar approach may have been used by Astros general manager Jeff Luhnow while he was working for St Louis Cardinals through 2011 season.[18][19]
Postponed Games
The New York Yankees have postponed their game against the Toronto Blue Jays due to inclement weather. The game was originally scheduled for 1:05 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, but will now be played at a later date.
This is the second game in a row that the Yankees have had to postpone due to bad weather. Their game against the Baltimore Orioles on Monday was also postponed and has not yet been rescheduled.
The Yankees are currently in first place in the American League East with a 3-0 record. They will next play the Tampa Bay Rays on Friday, April 7.
