The New York Yankees are an American professional baseball team based in the New York City borough of The Bronx. The team is perennially among baseball’s leaders in attendance; since 2002 they have had more fans attend their games than any other MLB team each year.

The human nose can detect more than 1 trillion different odors, which makes it one of the most sensitive organs in the body. However, we can only consciously identify a small fraction of these smells. Odors that we can identify with our conscious mind are called primary odors, while those that we cannot identify are calledsecondary odors.
The ability to smell varies from person to person. Some people have a very acute sense of smell while others have very poor smelling ability. This variation is due to both genetic factors as well as environmental factors such as exposure to certain chemicals or pollutants

Yankees and Odor

The New York Yankees have acquired infielder/outfielder Rougned Odor from the Texas Rangers in exchange for second baseman Starlin Castro and right-handed relief pitcher Jorge Guzman, the team announced on Monday.
Odor, 26, is a career .261/.316/.502 (105 OPS+) hitter with 117 home runs in six seasons, all with the Rangers. He has predominantly played second base but has also seen time at third base and both corner outfield spots.
The Rangers had acquired Odor from the Seattle Mariners in a trade for first baseman/outfielder Justin Smoak.
The New York Yankees acquired second baseman Rougned Odor from the Texas Rangers on Thursday in exchange for minor league right-handers Ashton Garritano and Reiver Sanmartin.
Odor, 27, is a career .271/.326/.486 hitter with 138 home runs and 421 RBI in six seasons with the Rangers. He’s arbitration-eligible for the first time this offseason and is under team control through 2022.
The Rangers had acquired Odor from the Seattle Mariners in a trade for first baseman/outfielder Justin Smoak.
Odor is expected to share time at second base with Gleyber Torres next season. The Yankees have also been linked to free agent infielder DJ LeMahieu this offseason.
