Yankees
The New York Yankees are an American professional baseball team based in the Bronx, New York City. The Yankees compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the American League (AL) East division. They are one of two major league clubs based in New York City, the other being the New York Mets of the National League.
Location
The games will be played at Olympic Stadium in London, which is currently the home of the Premier League soccer club West Ham United. The stadium has a capacity of 60,000 and will be configured specifically for baseball. MLB has been working withWest Ham and the London Mayor’s office on the project for more than 18 months.

This will be the first time that the Yankees and Red Sox have played each other in London. The two teams have a long history of rivalry, dating back to when they were both part of the American League East division.
The games in London will be part of a larger effort by Major League Baseball to grow the game internationally. In recent years, the league has been staging regular-season games in Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Australia.
“We are continuing to work hard to spread the game of baseball around the world,” said MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred in a statement. “The opportunity to play weekly games in Europe is another important step in that effort.”

The Red Sox are scheduled to play two games against the Yankees at London Stadium on June 29-30, 2019. This will be the first time that the Red Sox have played in London. The last time the Yankees played in London was in 2014.

The two Famous rivals will face off in London on June 29 and 30 at the iconic London Stadium, which is also known as Olympic Stadium. The stadium, which is located in Stratford, East London, has a capacity of 60,000 people.
Seating chart
There is no designated visiting team dugout at London Stadium, so the Red Sox and Yankees will share the home team dugout on the first base side. Infield seating in sections 141-143 and 149-151 will be removed for the two games, leaving a capacity of approximately 55,000.
Schedule
The first London Series will be a two-game set between the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox, taking place at London Stadium on June 29-30, 2019. This will be the first time that these two historic rivals will meet in Europe.
The games will be played under regular season rules and will count towards the teams’ regular season records. Tickets for the games will go on sale in early 2019.
