Injury Updates
The New York Yankees placed outfielders Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge on the injured list Wednesday.
Stanton hurt his hamstring while running out a ground ball in Tuesday’s 6-3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays. He will have an MRI to determine the severity of the injury. Stanton is batting .290 with 10 home runs and 28 RBIs in 39 games this season.
Judge, meanwhile, has been dealing with pain in his shoulder for several weeks. He received a cortisone shot last week, but it did not help. Judge is batting .288 with eight home runs and 27 RBIs in 40 games this season.
