Romine is considered to be an excellent defender with a good arm, and while his bat is not as strong as Montero’s, he projects to be a solid hitter at the Major League level.
All three candidates have their strengths and weaknesses, but based on their abilities and potential, it appears that Jesus Montero is the leading candidate to be the new New York Yankees catcher.
