Severino was signed by the Yankees as an international free agent in 2011. He made his Major League debut with the Yankees in 2015. In 2017, he won 14 games and had an ERA of 2.98. Severino finished 4th in the AL Cy Young Award voting that year.

In his 18-year career, Sabathia has also played for the Milwaukee Brewers and the Yankees. He is a six-time All-Star and won the Cy Young Award in 2007.

Aroldis Chapman is a Cuban professional baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB). Chapman bats and throws left-handed and is nicknamed “The Cuban Missile”. He pitched for the Cincinnati Reds from 2010 to 2016 and New York Yankees from 2016 to present. Chapman has also played for the Cuban national baseball team.

Zach Britton (born December 22, 1987) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played in MLB for the Baltimore Orioles from 2011 to 2018. A three-time All-Star, Britton was named American League (AL) Relief Pitcher of the Year in 2016 and 2017, and he holds the major league record for most consecutive saves with 60, set over the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

Aaron Boone
Yankees manager Aaron Boone has been relieved of his duties, the team announced on Thursday.
The move comes after the Yankees’ disappointing end to the 2020 season, in which they were eliminated by the Tampa Bay Rays in the American League Division Series.
Boone was in his third season as Yankees manager, and had led the team to an overall record of 253-161.
In a statement, Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner said that the team “decided to part ways” with Boone.
“I want to thank Aaron for his three years with us as our manager,” Steinbrenner said. “He has been a tremendous leader for this organization and I have nothing but respect for him.”
Steinbrenner added that a search for a new manager will begin immediately.
